Spacegoods
One of the rarer teardowns: a store that already upsells. Subscription on the buy box, a cross-sell and free-shipping bar in the cart. The money still on the table is the first-order bump, a reward worth chasing, and the post-purchase window.
Most teardowns in this library start from zero on upsells. Spacegoods doesn't: subscription is baked into the buy box, and the cart already carries a free-shipping bar and a cross-sell. That makes it a sharper exercise: where do you add second-sale value to a store that's already monetising well? Mapped to Upsellr placements, page by page, with the basics they've nailed called out honestly.
Home page

First-time visitors meet mood before message: gorgeous "your coffee, upgraded" photography, but the concrete result (focus and energy without the jitters) is left to inference. A vaguer top-of-funnel promise drags down the conversion rate that every upsell later multiplies against.
Fix: State the outcome in one line above the lifestyle shot. Every point of base conversion you win here compounds through the bump, the cross-sell, and the subscription downstream.

The heavy-hitting evidence (gym-to-boardroom results, a million-plus customers, real outcomes) is parked deep in the page. New traffic decides whether to keep scrolling before that proof ever loads, which thins the pool of people who reach any offer at all.
Fix: Surface a short proof bar (count, one outcome, a logo row) up top. More qualified scrollers reaching the buy box means more orders to attach a bump and a cross-sell to.

The killer line ("we made it obsolete") is buried in a long, vibe-led scroll, disconnected from the evidence that would back it up. Strong claim, weak adjacency. The brand assets are excellent; the sequencing is what's leaking.
Fix: This is a Baseline-shaped fix: re-order first-screen, proof, and offer into one reinforcing scroll. A page that converts harder is the foundation every Upsellr placement compounds on.
Product page

Tidy, subscription-led buy box: rating, anchored price, benefit chips, flavour choice, a pre-ticked "Most Popular" plan. The catch: every visible route is a recurring plan, and whether you're even buying a subscription rides on a "flexible plan" toggle that's easy to miss. That commitment wall costs first orders.
Fix: Keep the recommended plan ticked, but expose a labelled one-time / trial route on the surface. A lower-commitment yes widens the order base that subscription, bumps, and post-purchase all build on.

There's a lot of good education here (ingredients, a transformation block, a coffee comparison), but it's a marathon scroll, and on mobile the buy box vanishes early. An offer the buyer can't see is an offer they can't take.
Fix: Pin a mobile mini buy-bar and lift one condensed benefit cluster under the buy box. Keeping the decision (and any bump on it) in reach is a quiet AOV lever.

The persuasive numbers (+33%, 81%, 84%, 80%, 30M servings) run without citations, and they sit far from the point of decision. On a wellness product, unsourced figures soften trust exactly where you need it firm to land a higher-value order.
Fix: Cite each stat and echo a tight version beside the buy box. Rebuilding the proof layer this way is core Baseline work, and trusted buyers say yes to bigger carts.

Subscription is handled, but nothing low-ticket lives next to Add to Cart: no trial can, no frother, no second-flavour taster. Every option is a recurring commitment, so the easy, impulse-friendly add that lifts the very first order simply isn't offered.
Fix: Place an Upsellr bump (Product/Bump, Compact) right at the CTA: a frother or single-can trial. It hands hesitant buyers a cheaper yes and adds margin to everyone else's first order.
Cart drawer

This is the upsell-forward part: the drawer already runs a free-shipping bar, an "Add to your order?" cross-sell (Rainbow Dust sample), an urgency countdown, and a savings subtotal. Two refinements are left on the table: the free-shipping reward unlocks on the first item, so there's nothing left to chase, and the cross-sell is a trial sample rather than a reorder-grade consumable.
Fix: Stack a second Upsellr Goal (a free gift above current AOV) so an unlock stays live, and re-point the cross-sell at a refill or a second flavour so it drives reorder value, not just sampling. One Upsellr cart config runs both.
Screens

What we'd fix
- 1Sharpen the first screen so the outcome (clean energy, no crash) is stated, not implied: a clearer promise lifts every downstream offer's take rate.
- 2Move a tight proof capsule (rating, one sourced stat, one comparison row) next to the buy box so the decision is supported where it's made.
- 3Tame the long PDP into a scannable flow with a sticky mobile buy-bar, keeping the offer reachable through the whole scroll.
- 1Drop an Upsellr bump beside Add to Cart (a single-can trial or frother), since every current path is a subscription with no low-ticket entry.
- 2Re-tier the cart Goal: the free-shipping reward already clears on item one, so layer a free-gift threshold above current AOV to keep an unlock in play.
- 3Add a one-click post-purchase offer (a refill or second flavour) on the thank-you page: the cart upsells, but the highest-intent moment after checkout is still empty.
